From its modest beginnings as a small cloth store in the 1930s, Mohan Group has evolved into a diversified conglomerate serving customers across textiles, dairy, sweets, electronics, and more.
Our Journey
The foundation of Mohan Group was laid by Shri Shiv Prasad Rajgarhia Ji, a dedicated karma yogi whose vision and work ethic created a lasting legacy. Starting with a retail clothing shop in Purulia, the group quickly earned trust for delivering quality products and honest service.
In 1935, Shri Durga Prasad Rajgarhia Ji joined and expanded the business into agriculture by establishing Mohan Dairy Farm. This pioneering move marked the beginning of a new chapter, embracing sustainable and ethical farming practices that remain central to the group’s values today.
The third generation, Shri Shyam Sundar, Shri Santosh Kumar, Shri Sajjan Kumar, and Shri Subhash Kumar Rajgarhia, brought innovation and diversification, launching Mohan Sweets, which revolutionised the confectionery market in South Bengal. They further expanded into electronics retail, establishing Mohan Multi Traders and Mohan Cellular, creating a strong presence in modern consumer markets.
